Navratri Colours 2026: 9 Days, 9 Colours & What to Wear

Navratri Colours 2026: 9 Days, 9 Colours & What to Wear

Nine nights. Nine colours. Nine different moods.

Navratri is one of those times of the year when dressing up becomes part of the celebration. From colourful Garba nights to intimate family gatherings, festive dinners and last-minute plans with your girls, every day brings a new reason to add a little colour to your wardrobe.

In 2026, Sharad Navratri begins on 11 October and continues through 19 October, with Dussehra falling on 20 October. The traditional colour calendar gives each of the nine days its own shade, making it the perfect opportunity to have a little fun with your festive wardrobe.

And because we believe festive dressing should feel as good as it looks, here's our Aaraish guide to the nine Navratri colours of 2026, along with outfit inspiration for each day.

Day 1 — Orange

Navratri begins with orange, a colour that represents warmth, energy and celebration.

But at Aaraish, we like to interpret colours our own way.

If bright orange isn't quite your shade, take the same festive energy and soften it with pink. Think of it as orange's more feminine, playful cousin - equally joyful, but a little more effortless.

Reach for our Rani pink or pink-toned pieces and let the colour take centre stage. Keep the rest of the look simple with delicate gold jewellery, neutral footwear and a fresh, dewy makeup look.

Because following the Navratri colour chart doesn't mean you have to dress by the rules.

The vibe: Joyful. Feminine. Effortlessly festive.

Day 2 — White

Soft, timeless and effortlessly elegant, white is the colour for the woman who believes less can definitely be more.

For Day 2, reach for your Aaraish cream pieces for a softer take on the day's white palette.

Our Saher cream is an easy choice for this look. Keep the styling minimal with delicate jewellery, a structured bag and comfortable flats.

White doesn't need to be boring. Texture, silhouette and accessories can do all the talking.

The vibe: Minimal. Serene. Effortlessly chic.

Day 3 — Red

Now we're turning up the energy.

Red brings confidence, power and a little drama, exactly the kind of colour that deserves its own moment.

For a red Navratri look, reach for Aaraish's rani pink and maroon tones if you want to interpret the colour in a slightly softer, more wearable way.

A deeper maroon can make the outfit feel sophisticated for an evening celebration, while a brighter pink-red brings a younger, more playful energy.

Add statement earrings and you're ready for Garba night.

The vibe: Bold. Feminine. Powerful.

Day 4 — Royal Blue

Royal blue brings a sense of richness to the Navratri palette.

It is bold enough for the festivities but versatile enough to become an outfit you'll want to wear long after Navratri is over.

Our Navy Blue kurtis and Co-ord sets is a beautiful way to interpret the blue family while keeping the look fresh and contemporary.

Pair it with silver jewellery for a cooler, more modern festive look, or add gold accessories if you want something warmer.

The vibe: Regal. Fresh. Confident.

Green brings a little calm into the colour story while still feeling completely festive.

For this day, reach for Aaraish's Zara embellishments or our many green pieces.

Emerald works beautifully for an evening celebration when styled with gold jewellery, while a softer green can create a more effortless daytime look.

And if you're someone who loves an outfit that can go from work to dinner without needing a complete change, green is your girl.

The vibe: Elegant. Grounded. Luxe.

Day 7 — Grey

Grey might not be the first colour that comes to mind when you think of Navratri, but that's exactly what makes it interesting.

Think of this as your opportunity to play with soft neutrals and understated elegance.

If not this cream-grey floral grey kurti perfect for navratri, reach for cream, powder pink or other muted Aaraish tones and let your accessories bring the festive element.

A pair of statement earrings or metallic footwear can instantly elevate a neutral outfit.

The vibe: Understated. Sophisticated. Modern.

Day 8 — Purple

Purple brings a little mystery, richness and personality to the Navratri palette.

And this one has an obvious Aaraish favourite: Yasmin.

Our purple Yasmin is made for the woman who likes her festive dressing to feel elegant without being overdone. The rich hue does the talking, while the silhouette keeps the look effortlessly wearable.

Style it with gold jewellery for a traditional festive touch, or keep it modern with minimal accessories and understated footwear.

Whether you're heading to a Garba night, a festive dinner or simply stepping out to celebrate, Yasmin lets the colour make the statement.

The vibe: Rich. Feminine. Regal.

And we end the nine-day colour journey with one of the most beautiful shades of them all — peacock green.

Somewhere between blue and green, this jewel-toned shade feels festive without feeling predictable.

Aaraish pick: Reach for our emerald and turquoise pieces to recreate the peacock-green mood.

If you're heading out for the final Garba night, this is the day to have fun with your accessories. Think statement earrings, bangles and comfortable footwear that can actually survive a night of dancing.

The vibe: Vibrant. Jewel-toned. Celebration-ready.

Your Navratri Wardrobe, The Aaraish Way

You don't need nine completely new outfits to celebrate nine colours.

The best festive wardrobe is one that works beyond the festival too.

Take a colour you already love, change your accessories, switch your footwear, add a layer or style your kurti differently, suddenly, the same piece feels completely new.

At Aaraish, that's exactly what we believe everyday fashion should do.

Take you from 9–5 to 5–9.
From the office to dinner.
From everyday plans to festive ones.

Because getting dressed shouldn't feel like a task.

It should feel like a little moment for yourself.

Nine colours. Nine moods. One festive season.

Whether you're dressing for Garba night, a family celebration, an intimate dinner or simply because you love an excuse to wear colour, make this Navratri your own.

Wear the colour of the day.

Wear your favourite colour.

Or wear whatever makes you feel most like yourself.

Because the best outfit is always the one you feel good in.

This Navratri, celebrate colour. Celebrate comfort. Celebrate you.
